Yay... Saturday again

It's Saturday again and I plan to do the things I planned last week as I didn't manage to do them, which is to clean the house and wash my car. Unfortunately it's raining now.. so getting a carwash is totally out. Now I'm just left with cleaning the house. Already started and now I'm just taking a breather. As I'm sooo heavy these days, I can't be continuously moving. So tired!

My sewing project is moving slowly as I'm quite busy with work. It's nearing year end close (YEC) for us and I know I'm gonna be working late until the end of next week. Anyway, so far I have successfully sew a mini wetbag (as per my last post), a large wetbag, test mittens (hehe...), baby cloth wipes, a nursing pad (haven't managed to complete the pair!), and of course the cloth pantyliners. The only thing I haven't tried sewing is the baby booties/socks. Really got no time. Will sew that probably after YEC. Apart from that, I think I'm doing ok with sewing. It really does test your thinking and patience.

Below is the result of my sewing and I'm sure if people sees this they will think that I love pink. But no... I don't like pink. It's just that when I went to get the flannel, the shop didn't have many choices so I was stuck with pink. Then of course, I had to find a matching colour for the other materials as well. Hence, all the pink! I'm never gonna buy flannel from that shop again.



And yeah, about the pantyliners... I found out that I can't use microfiber for those. It made my skin too dry. Maybe it can be used for cloth pads later but definitely not for pantyliners.

Ok, I'm gonna go clean the house now. - And again, my dearest hubby is no longer at home. He's gone out for a wedding job, and I miss him dearly! *Sigh* -
