Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Good morning peeps. It is indeed a good morning. Yesterday, izz really slept thru the night, which means I also got to sleep thru the night... and I got to watch the latest installment of Transformers movie.

It is a good movie... so I’m giving it 3.5 out of 5. I’ve always been a Transformers movie fan... not the toy, not the comic book, not the cartoon, just the movie. Why? Because I like CGI... any movies with acceptable storyline and great CGI will be good for me.

The best part of the movie is of course the CGI. Nothing beats seeing Optimus and the gang change from vehicles to gigantic robots (ok, now that I put it that way it sounds kinda lame). But it is great. The other part that's good is the eye candy. I've always enjoyed watching LaBeouf act... the boy can really act. And he's quite good looking too. Who would have thought that the quirky boy who was in Even Stevens can grow up to be a hunk. Yep, he's in my hunk category. The other eye candy would be Josh Duhamel (he seems a bit chubbier in the movie).

There were some puzzling scenes where we see the Autobots at one place and suddenly not there anymore. And Bumblebee/Optimus being exactly where it needed to be... just convenient to save LaBeouf's character. And the fight scenes between the Autobots and Decepticons were a bit too much towards the end of the movie.

The thing that bothered me most was the actress they got to replace Megan Fox. You can Google her. To me, Megan would be a lot better, not to mention prettier. yeah, the new girl is sexy and all, but she's way too tall for LaBeouf and she has weird looking lips (I was told that she's a model so that makes sense, some models do look weird... or exotic as they like to call it). If she were to act with some model-looking actor... then that would be more suitable. But definitely not LaBeouf. Nothing against him, but he's not model-looking.

All in all... it's a good movie. I enjoyed it. Don’t scrutinize every detail of the movie... or you'll be disappointed. Please remember that it's just a movie. It's not real. Robots are not alive in the first place. So just go into the cinema, relax and have fun. Would I watch it again? Maybe, if I get free tickets. To pay again, no thanks. I’d rather spend it on izz. Should you go and watch it? Yes, definitely... at least once.
