Early last week dh rasa sakit gigi, managed to tahan smpi Jumaat then terus ke dentist sbb x bole tahan dh. I was thinking gigi berlubang la kot. Lain mcm sakit/ngilu dia. Nak tunduk, sujud semua x bole. Sakit dia sampai tangkap kat kepala. Agak menghairankan jugak mula2 tu sbb saya jenis mmg kerap ke dentist. Suka pegi scaling to make sure gigi bersih, xde cavity etc.
Pegi dentist, initial check mmg xde nmpk anything wrong. Lubang semua xde, so the doc suruh buat xray gigi. 1st time xray gigi! Xray result also ok. Nothing wrong with my teeth. The doc ckp maybe problem with my sinus. I've never had any sinus problem before so mmg x tahu apa2 pun psl sinus. So ingat the next day ke pegi la klinik to check further.
Iye sgt nak tunggu smpi esok nye. Tgk2 mlm tu jugak terus ke klinik sbb sakit makin teruk. Confirm sinusitis! Doc gave some medication and then kitorg balik. The next morning, sakit lg. So I decided pegi balik klinik and mintak referral letter utk pegi jumpe ENT since the medication x membantu langsung. Ini la leceh kalau kite pegi GP. The doctor bertukar ikut shift and doc pagi tu pulak suruh try additional ubat. KALAU x elok gak baru ke ENT. Nasib la dia terus bg jugak the referral letter. Kalau x nk kena dtg balik for the letter.
So I went back utk cuba dulu ubat doctor pagi tu, and decided if x elok jugak baru ke ENT. BIG MISTAKE!!!! Patut pegi je terus ke ENT Sabtu pagi tu sbb semua ubat yg berlambak tu mmg x membantu langsung. Since ENT xde during the weekend, mmg kena tahan aje la sakit sampai Isnin. Siap demam bagai Sabtu Ahad. Completely penyek.
For the first time ever, saya x sabar2 tunggu Isnin dtg. Sbb nk jumpe ENT punye psl. Awal pagi dh siap2 ke hosp. Pegi yg paling dekat dgn rumah, KPJ kat Shah Alam. Mmg confirm sinusitis and the doc ckp dh quite teruk.
Gigi rasa sakit so it probably means that the mucus (as illustrated above) dh pekat and dh tekan2 kat saraf upper jaw. Sbb tu rasa sakit gigi. Pdhal gigi ok je. The easiest way of course buat minor operation to drain out the mucus. I have a condition right now so operation tu kalau bole nk dielakkan, as last resort. So the doc tahan kat ward utk bg medication thru IV and monitor if things improve or otherwise.
On Wednesday, after almost 3 days on medication and multiple sinus rinses, I thought things were getting better. So the doc discharged me, and suruh habiskan the antibiotic to ensure the infection btul2 gone. He said to come and see him again next Monday utk check if everything is ok. He said kalau sakit lg by Monday, mmg kena operate sbb takut the infection merebak ke tmpt2 lain. X psl2 timbul lebih byk masalah nnt.
Ingat kan dh ok la, rupe2 nye dpt temporary relief je. I was still relying on panadol as painkiller. Hilang je effect panadol, sakit dtg balik. Without panadol, mmg x bole function as I was in pain. Mmg rasa mcm sakit gigi. Yesterday Zul ada appt with another doc kat KPJ and since dia mmg dh ada kat sana, I asked Zul to ask my ENT if we can proceed with the operation. The pain got more intense and saya dh x bole tahan. Asyik mkn panadol je pun x elok kan. I tried my best utk x mk panadol, but at times mmg x tahan. Kalau ikutkan today dh bole buat the operation, but I decided next Monday sbb esok Izz ada sukan sekolah. I really don't want to miss that.
